옵티마이저 최적화: Language Model이 더 빠른 분자 이완 경로를 찾다
Geometry optimization is a major cost in many quantum-chemical workflows: each optimization step requires one force evaluation, and at the density-functional level that evaluation dominates the wall time. Research in this area has produced a broad range of optimization methods, and we ask whether a language model can improve on the best of them through autoresearch. An agent rewrites the optimizer itself to minimize force-call counts, restrained by two admission gates that reject premature stopping and improvements that do not generalize to unseen molecules. Starting from Sella, the fastest open-source optimizer available, the search produces AutoSella, a family of two optimizers. Both of them deliver consistent force-call reductions relative to Sella across held-out molecular benchmarks and potentials not used during the search. Most notably, at the r2SCAN-3c DFT level, the best variant requires only 40.2--77.2% of Sella's force calls while achieving the same energy reduction, even th

Drive, Pack, Fly: 드론을 포함한 Travelling Thief Problem
In collection operations, accumulating payload progressively slows the vehicle, imposing a cumulative penalty on routing efficiency. An onboard drone can offset this penalty by retrieving outlying items, thereby shortening the makespan and increasing operational profit. However, travel time remains load-dependent, and each item collected by the ground vehicle shifts the arrival times that govern the drone's launch and rendezvous points. This paper introduces the Travelling Thief Problem with Drone (TTP-D), which maximises the collected profit, net of a time-based rental cost, by jointly optimising item selection, vehicle routing, and flight synchronisation. We formulate a mixed-integer linear program that solves small instances to optimality, and develop both metaheuristics and an attention-based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) policy for larger instances. We further propose a learner-initialised hybrid solver, in which the DRL policy constructs an initial solution that a short annea

노이즈는 빼고 편향은 넣고: 폐쇄 루프 활성화 조향으로 Diffusion Language Model에 표적 편향 주입
Masked diffusion language models (dLLMs) generate text by iteratively denoising masked positions, re-predicting each token multiple times before it is committed. An autoregressive decoder exposes an answer's distribution once, at the step that commits it; a dLLM exposes it at every denoising step before commitment, and we show that an adversary can exploit this. Since an answer remains open to revision over many denoising steps, an adversary with access to internal activations can watch how likely the model is to produce a chosen answer and adjust the intervention accordingly. Building on this observation, we study targeted bias injection, an attack that steers a frozen dLLM toward a demographic answer selected by the adversary. The attack uses a simple proportional-integral (PI) controller that tracks the target-answer probability during denoising and adapts the strength of a steering vector on the fly. On ambiguous BBQ questions where the correct answer is abstention, our attack rais

덴마크 의회에서의 초당적 비난: 정치적 대비와 책임 전가
Political discourse is widely perceived to be growing more hostile, yet robust evidence remains scarce. This study examines blame attribution in the Danish Parliament from 1997 to 2026, combining a purpose-built classifier, BlameBERT (F1: 0.80), with multilevel statistical modeling. The classifier is constructed using an annotation-efficient pipeline for blame attribution in low-to-mid resource languages. The results reveal a banana-shaped trajectory, with blame declining until around 2016 before entering a significant and sustained increase in recent years (2019-2026). Government status consistently influenced blame attribution - an effect we term political contrasting - with opposition parties blaming substantially more than governing parties. This effect was moderated by ideology: The blame-dampening effect of governing was less pronounced among right-wing parties, and ideological extremity amplified blame more strongly on the right. In recent years, the interaction between politica

Latent visual reasoning aims to perform multimodal reasoning through hidden-state computation rather than explicit textual chains of thought. However, visual information being present in a latent state does not imply that the model actually relies on that state when producing its answer, especially when alternative image-conditioned paths remain available. We introduce Causal Visual Recurrent Reasoning (CVRR), which preserves pretrained visual competence while making recurrent computation the required image-conditioned path to prediction. CVRR initializes recurrence from the question hidden state after the pretrained vision-language model has incorporated the image, then repeatedly updates this state while re-reading the same fixed visual evidence. Before decoding, visual states and the original multimodal KV cache are removed so that only the final recurrent state carries image-conditioned information to the answer. 대규모 언어모델의 파라미터 내 메모리 확장을 향하여
Recently Large Language Models (LLMs) and LLM-based agents increasingly need to incorporate knowledge acquired after pretraining, e.g., domain facts, user preferences, documents, and interaction experience. In-context learning (ICL) and ICL-based agent harness remain flexible, but they consume context capacity and incur repeated discretized encoding cost that grows with context length. In-parameter memory offers a complementary substrate: reusable memory information is represented in model parameters, adapters, or other parameter-like objects that are composed into the forward pass at inference time. This survey focuses on methods that augment LLMs with such parametric memory at deployment: a memory-bearing parameter object is plugged into the forward pass during inference, whether it is acquired before or during deployment. We organize the landscape with two orthogonal axes: Parameter Placement, which includes Embedding, Attention, FFN layers, or Hybrid when two or more layers are use

Dynin-Robotics: 옴니모달 통합 Diffusion Vision-Language-Action 모델
Visual goal and dynamics prediction can provide language-conditioned robot policies with both a target outcome and a representation of action-dependent scene changes. We bring these predictions into action generation and selection through a shared trajectory model. Dynin-Robotics implements this formulation on Dynin-Omni, an omnimodal masked-diffusion backbone, representing language, visual observations, goals, and actions as discrete tokens. By varying conditioning and target spans, the same model learns action prediction, action-conditioned next-observation prediction, terminal goal-state prediction, and trajectory-to-instruction reconstruction. These interfaces support test-time scaling through goal prediction, action-candidate evaluation, and joint refinement of action and future-state predictions. We continually pretrain the model on approximately 1.33 million trajectories from 48 Open X-Embodiment datasets and adapt it separately to downstream domains. On two VLABench tasks, robo

AdvSim2Real: 웹 월드 모델에서 적응형 프롬프트 인젝션에 맞서 웹 에이전트 훈련
Web agents complete user requests by reading and acting on pages that third parties write, so an instruction planted on a page can redirect the agent away from the user's goal. The agent cannot simply ignore the page, because the page also holds the values and controls the task requires. Current defenses fine-tune the agent on injections fixed before training, and attackers that adapt to the trained model bypass them. Adversarial training lets the attacker adapt but keeps the tasks fixed, so a task stops teaching once the agent solves it. We introduce AdvSim2Real, which co-evolves a task curriculum, an injection adversary, and the agent inside a frozen web world model. The curriculum is rewarded for tasks the agent solves about half of the time, and the adversary only for a success flip, an injection that turns a judged success into a failure. Training in the simulator makes a 4B agent both more capable and more robust: its completion rises with and without attacks, holds against a fro

LOCI: 스트리밍 월드 모델을 위한 공간 선형 메모리
When a camera revisits a previously observed region, a video world model should reproduce what was there before. This requires both remembering past observations and retrieving the right one for the current viewpoint. Key-value caches preserve visual detail but grow with video length; recurrent memory is compact but compresses history into a fixed-size state, so individual past observations are no longer directly accessible. We introduce LOCI, a hybrid spatial-memory architecture that keeps both representations. In half of the transformer blocks, main attention keeps a key-value cache of past observations; in the other half, it is restricted to the current chunk and complemented by a recurrent linear-attention memory whose reads and writes are conditioned on projective camera geometry, so viewpoint enters both memory addressing and stored content. Recurrent readouts flow into subsequent cache-backed blocks and supply their queries with accumulated scene context. On the public MIND memo

PonderPounce: 사전학습된 MLLM을 로봇 제어용 에피소드 컨텍스트 엔진으로
Multimodal large language models (MLLMs) can integrate long visual histories, reason under partial observability, and infer behavior from a few examples. Yet vision-language-action (VLA) models generally inherit pretrained representations without using this contextual capacity as episode memory. Memory-dependent policies address this gap through purpose-built history mechanisms. PonderPounce instead reuses an MLLM's native causal context as robot memory. Ponder, a System2 MLLM, accumulates episode observations, demonstrations, and prior cognition in its native causal context and can generate subgoal text and demonstration reasoning for internal use. Pounce, a System1 VLA, receives the current observation, instruction, and proprioception directly; through the Ponder--Pounce interface, it asynchronously receives only the newest continuous cognition token and its age. An agent whose tool keeps returning nothing useful should stop relying on it. In a retrieval environment with controlled source failures, we separate how agents judge results from what they do. We compare stopping at the same step after longer and shorter runs of results the agent judged useless; this contrast is zero for clock- or deadline-driven stopping. Where we record their judgments, the seven agents we test call a failing source's results useless 97-100% of the time, yet most of them rarely stop on that judgment. Prompt cues change when they stop but not what they stop on. Permission to answer from memory and a reasoning mode can bring early stops regardless of evidence, a stated budget moves the 7-8B models' stops to the deadline, and a stopping rule or call cost in the prompt is followed at most partly. Stopping follows the evidence only when the harness enforces an integration step that makes the agent answer after five consecutive results it judged useless. This step raises

JLD: Jacobian 관점에서 본 지각적 거리
Image compression, restoration, and generation all require a way to measure how different two images look to a person. Pixel error ignores how people see, while the most accurate perceptual distances are typically fitted to human judgments, tying them to a fixed data and resolution. For example, when image resolution is doubled, the correlation of DISTS with human scores on TID2013 drops from 0.815 to 0.717. We introduce the Jacobian Lens Distance (JLD), which derives its perceptual geometry from a frozen vision encoder rather than from human labels. JLD combines the locality of early patch features with the perceptual sensitivity captured by later encoder representations. Specifically, we use the encoder Jacobian to identify directions in the early feature space that most strongly affect the encoder output, producing a fixed metric tensor, E[J^top J], which we call the Jacobian lens. The lens is fitted only once from 100 unlabeled images, taking about 35 seconds. Locally, this constru

언제 전환할까: Vision-Language-Action 모델을 위한 신뢰도 높은 액션 청크 확장
Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models serve as unified policies for robotic manipulation, yet their expensive inference forces robots to pause between policy calls, resulting in stop-and-go execution that interrupts smooth motion and prolongs task completion. Extending the action chunk reduces policy calls and hence these pauses, but predicting farther into the future makes long-chunk execution unreliable. To understand where this unreliability arises, we analyze action errors within long chunks and find that they concentrate around transitions between manipulation subskills, growing sharply with chunk length. This suggests the importance of transition timing, i.e., when to switch subskills within a chunk. Motivated by this observation, we introduce RACE (Reliable Action-Chunk Extension), a framework that predicts the transition timing from an auxiliary one-step denoising pass and conditions action generation on it. By learning and conditioning on transition timing, RACE reduces errors a

방향성 분해로 Transformer 표현 진화의 메커니즘 풀어낸다
Transformer representations evolve through learned additive transformations that either preserve their current direction or redirect it. We study this evolution as a functional geometry, decomposing learned updates into parallel and perpendicular components. Across pretrained models, we find substantial parallel components beyond the residual identity path. We then apply the decomposition in two spaces: to attention and MLP updates relative to the hidden state, and to attention value aggregation relative to the current token's value. Targeted edits reveal a strongly space-dependent asymmetry: exclude-self value-space parallel manipulation is markedly more robust than residual-space and perpendicular counterparts, preserving the direct self message while scaling only the non-self aggregate. The same decomposition gives a component-resolved description of compression-induced update error: perpendicular error separates compression methods more clearly than parallel error. Extensive experi

HiFi-BRep: 견고한 B-Rep 생성을 위한 고충실도 잠재 표현
Boundary representation (B-Rep) generation is a fundamental task in computer-aided design, yet the direct synthesis of high-fidelity and structurally valid B-Reps remains a major challenge. Existing deep generative methods suffer from two forms of brittleness: representation brittleness, caused by padding noise and feature contamination in the latent space, and generation brittleness, stemming from sequential error propagation and a train-inference mismatch due to non-differentiable validity enforcement. We propose HiFi-BRep, a novel framework that addresses these limitations through two synergistic contributions. First, a topology-aware encoder constructs a high-fidelity latent representation by eliminating padding via learnable queries and preventing feature contamination with topology-guided attention. Second, a single-stage decoder jointly predicts geometry and topology in parallel, embedding core manifold constraints as a differentiable learning objective. This design ensures mutu

As interactive 3D worlds are increasingly used to study intelligent behavior, it becomes important to develop efficient pipelines for identifying anomalies in these simulated environments, such as floating objects, traversable walls, or objects inconsistent with the surrounding scene. Multimodal AI systems, including vision-language models (VLMs) and vision-language-action models (VLAs), have shown potential for automating this task. However, 3D world auditing is complex, requiring the close coupling of two distinct capabilities: action, to navigate the 3D world and search for anomalies systematically and efficiently; and visual reasoning, to understand the environment and identify anomalies from multimodal observations. It remains largely unexplored whether multimodal agents can effectively couple these two capabilities, using visual reasoning to identify potential anomalies while taking actions to validate them. In this paper, we introduce WorldAuditBench, a benchmark for 3D world au

DuoOPD: 멀티태스크 온폴리시 증류를 위한 교사-학생 공동 결과 학습
On-policy distillation (OPD) trains a student on its own responses with token-level feedback from a stronger teacher, yet the teacher can fail on questions the student already answers correctly, and how often each model succeeds varies across tasks. OPD ignores these outcomes and, on average, pushes down even the student's correct responses; gating feedback by student correctness fixes the direction but uses the teacher in the same way whether or not it succeeded. We introduce DuoOPD, in which the student's outcome sets the direction of feedback and the joint teacher-student outcome decides how the teacher supports it: when only the teacher succeeds, its verified answer becomes context for scoring the student's failed response, and when only the student succeeds, a weight shared within the task reinforces the whole response. A single rule covers all four outcome combinations without task-specific settings. Across Qwen3 and Llama, DuoOPD outperforms all five baselines in mean macro accu

한 번 사전학습하고 어디서나 라우팅: LLM 라우팅용 파운데이션 모델을 향해
Large language model (LLM) routing aims to assign each query to the most suitable model from a heterogeneous candidate pool, improving the quality--efficiency trade-off of LLM inference. Existing routers are typically learned through local fitting: a router is optimized for a particular query workload and candidate pool, and often requires additional supervision or retraining as the routing environment changes. We ask whether LLM routing can instead be approached from a foundation-model perspective, learning a reusable routing capability that generalizes across tasks, candidate models, and deployment conditions. To this end, we introduce RouteFM, which learns to characterize anonymous candidate models from behavioral context and infer their target-specific capabilities, rather than binding routing decisions to fixed model identities or a single environment. Through episodic pretraining across heterogeneous routing environments, this capability can be reused by a frozen router and adapt

Robotic manipulation faces a fundamental scaling challenge: robust generalization demands broad physical experience, yet action-labeled robot trajectories are expensive to collect and inherently limited in diversity. Egocentric videos offer a far more scalable source of embodied experience, capturing object interactions, contact dynamics, tool use, and long-horizon behaviors across diverse environments. The central challenge is how to convert this abundant but action-free experience into effective robot control. We introduce ZimaBlue, a scalable framework for learning generalizable World Action Models (WAMs) from large-scale video. ZimaBlue follows a three-stage training curriculum: it first performs causal embodied video pre-training on large-scale human and robot egocentric videos, then grounds the learned visual dynamics in heterogeneous robot trajectories through video-action mid-training with a unified action representation, and finally specializes the model to a target robot for

Semantic correspondence (SC) evaluates this capability by testing whether object parts can be matched across instances and categories under large variations in appearance, viewpoint, and geometry. To enable a systematic SC evaluation, we introduce SOCO, a new benchmark for Semantic Object Correspondence that introduces a taxonomy of correspondence types and provides consistent, functionally meaningful keypoint annotations across 100 categories and over 1M correspondence pairs. In addition, SOCO includes keypoint language descriptions, enabling the evaluation of large vision-language models (LVLMs) and their fine-grained part-level understanding. RewardHarness: Self-Evolving Agentic Post-Training
Evaluating instruction-guided image edits requires rewards that reflect subtle human preferences, yet current reward models typically depend on large-scale preference annotation and additional model training. This creates a data-efficiency gap: humans can often infer the target evaluation criteria from only a few examples, while models are usually trained on hundreds of thousands of comparisons. We present RewardHarness, a self-evolving agentic reward framework that reframes reward modeling as context evolution rather than weight optimization. Instead of learning from large-scale annotations, RewardHarness aligns with human preferences by iteratively evolving a library of tools and skills from as few as 100 preference demonstrations. Yet many settings provide rich feedback, including execution traces, tool outputs, expert corrections, and model self-evaluations. We study how to use such feedback through a distributional variant of the classic imitation learning algorithm DAgger, where the learner has local access to an expert distribution on states visited by the current policy. This yields a simple forward cross-entropy objective that admits a blackbox expert and whose sequence-level gradient {conduct rich credit assignment by propagating} future expert-student disagreement back to earlier decisions. Video diffusion models have made rapid progress in perceptual realism and temporal coherence, but they remain primarily optimized for plausible generation rather than verifiable reasoning. This limitation is especially pronounced in tasks where generated videos must satisfy explicit spatial, temporal, or logical constraints. Inspired by the role of reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR) in reasoning-oriented language models, we introduce VideoRLVR, a practical recipe for optimizing video diffusion models with rule-based feedback. VideoRLVR formulates video reasoning as the generation of verifiable visual trajectories and consists of an SDE-GRPO optimization backbone, dense decomposed rewards, and an Early-Step Focus strategy for efficient training. The Early-Step Focus strategy restricts policy optimization to the early denoising phase, reducing training latency by about 40% while preserving performance. Spatial reasoning is a fundamental capability for vision-language models (VLMs) deployed in real-world environments. However, visual observations are inherently limited representations of a 3D world: occlusion can render objects invisible, and perspective can make geometric properties misleading. Despite this, existing spatial reasoning benchmarks typically assume that observations are sufficient and reliable, focusing on whether models produce correct answers rather than whether they recognize when a question cannot be answered and what additional observations would be needed. In this work, we challenge this assumption by constructing a controlled evaluation framework, SpatialUncertain, and introducing two types of observation challenges: (1) occlusion, which hides target information, and (2) perspective ambiguity, which produces misleading visual cues. For each configuration, we design spatial questions that are answerable under clean observations but require abstention under the int

Universal multimodal embedding (UME) maps heterogeneous inputs into a shared retrieval space with a single model. Recent approaches improve UME by generating explicit chain-of-thought (CoT) rationales before extracting embeddings, enabling multimodal large language models to better infer complex query intent. However, explicit CoT incurs substantial inference overhead and can compress rich multimodal evidence into a narrow textual bottleneck. We propose PLUME, a latent reasoning framework that advances UME by replacing verbalized CoT with a short autoregressive rollout of continuous latent states. To support diverse multimodal queries, PLUME further introduces a semantic-anchor-guided transition adapter that steers latent rollout along different reasoning trajectories under the same fixed computation budget. To stabilize training, PLUME adopts a progressive explicit-to-latent curriculum that uses verbalized reasoning only as a temporary training scaffold and gradually transfers this be

Remote sensing change detection (RSCD) aims to localise changes between two images of the same geographic region. Most state-of-the-art methods utilise per-pixel discriminative classification, which produces a single prediction per input and fails to explicitly model the changed region as a coherent whole. A natural alternative is generative formulation, which can model a distribution of plausible masks, enabling sampling to capture ambiguity and encourage global consistency. However, existing generative RSCD approaches typically lag behind strong discriminative baselines due to the high computational cost of pixel-space generation and the complexity of their conditioning mechanisms. To address the limitations of prior discriminative and generative methods, we propose ChangeFlow, a generative framework that

However, these methods encounter significant performance degradation when the DRF varies beyond the assumed one in practical applications. To address the challenge posed by varied DRFs, several preliminary studies focus on the task of universal PET image denoising, aiming to train a universal model over low-dose data across DRFs. Nonetheless, these vanilla universal models often struggle with misaligned styles present in different DRF data, leading to the style elimination issue with a significant over-smoothing effect. To deal with this issue, we innovatively introduce domain generalization to PET image denoising and propose a universal PET image denoising network (UniPET) to achieve high-quality PET image denoising across diverse DRFs. Reinforcement Learning from Verifiable Rewards (RLVR) has emerged as the standard paradigm for improving reasoning capability of large language models, while Multi-Token Prediction (MTP) has been a widely adopted module in pretraining. Combining them is a natural approach, yet current RL practices detach MTP gradients because joint training degrades the performance. We revisit this failure from an optimization perspective. We show that the per-step effect of MTP on the RL objective can be decomposed into two terms: a first-order correlation and a second-order perturbation penalty. This decomposition unifies three MTP training regimes: Detach, Cross-Entropy loss, and Policy loss, and explains why each succeeds or fails. Further analysis of policy loss reveals that, although it aligns with intuition, performance still degrades: the correlation term decays while the quadratic penalty persists. Guided by the analysis, we propose Optimal Coefficient Calibration (OCC), an adaptive scheme tha
