VDiff-Bench: 미세한 이미지 차이 식별을 위한 도전적 벤치마크
Multimodal Large Language Models (MLLMs) perform strongly on general visual understanding tasks such as visual question answering, yet they often struggle with a basic comparative skill: identifying what has changed between two similar images. We introduce VDiff-Bench, a challenging multiple-choice benchmark for fine-grained Image Difference Identification. VDiff-Bench contains 1,756 four-way questions over image pairs and covers 10 change categories: position, motion, regional image color, overall image color, appearance/disappearance, noise/resolution, texture, substitution/size, OCR/text, and illumination. Each question corresponds to two image inputs with 4 choices: the true difference, two hard negative descriptions, and a "no difference" distractor. To make the task challenging, we specifically curate ground-truth-conditioned negatives that require models to distinguish the actual change from nearby semantic alternatives. A*-Thought-V2: LLM의 기하학적 동역학을 활용한 효율적 잠재 추론
Chain-of-Thought (CoT) improves the reasoning ability of Large Language Models (LLMs) but incurs substantial computation and context costs. Existing methods either lose intermediate information through hard pruning or lack a principled criterion for continuous compression. We present A*-Thought-V2, a geometric dynamics of LLM guided framework that models CoT as a hidden-state trajectory and replaces hard deletion with an explicit-implicit interleaved latent architecture. After projecting question, step, and solution representations into a 3D PCA space, it measures alignment between each local transition and global question-to-solution direction. Aligned steps remain explicit text, whereas deviating steps are compressed into continuous latent tokens. Directional angles capture both local semantics and reasoning dynamics: small angles indicate direct execution and answer formation, while large angles more frequently involve checking, correction, and branch exploration; their temporal var

Graph Machine: 엣지 기반 사전학습의 가능성
We introduce the Graph Machine (GM), an architecture that maintains an O(n)-sized state and accesses it through sparse, dynamic routing. Unlike methods with fixed-size states or sparse but static routing, GM preserves O(n) complexity in its sparse layers without restricting the potentially accessible state size to O(1). Instead, GM uses edges - pointer-like objects updated differentiably by a referral mechanism resembling pointer chasing. We replace 75% of the dense Transformer layers in Qwen3-0.6B with GM sparse layers and pretrain from scratch on 15.7B tokens. With only 2 of 4,096 tokens retrieved per KV head in each sparse layer, loss degrades only slightly; with 4, the best model marginally improves loss.

NOAH: 환자의 전체 여정을 학습하는 종단적 멀티모달 시간 인지 모델
The digitization of healthcare has generated vast, longitudinal, and multimodal patient records over a lifetime, yet fully exploiting these data to represent and predict patient state trajectories remains a critical challenge. Current AI models often struggle to capture the complex, irregular temporal dynamics and inherent stochasticity of real-world multimodal patient data. Existing AI approaches for modeling longitudinal patient records are predominantly discriminative, limited to a few modalities, constrained by closed categorical vocabularies, treating time as a monotonic inductive bias, or they are limited in forecasting future patient states. We introduce NOAH, a time-aware, task-agnostic, generative transformer model representing and forecasting the full multimodal patient journey. NOAH features a novel bidirectional time integration and a variational latent space to capture the continuous evolution of patient states and the stochasticity of clinical trajectories. GE-Act 2.0: 로봇 조작을 위한 World-Action Model 사전학습과 스케일링
World-action models (WAM) predict future states to guide robot actions, enabling learning from both action-free video and action-labeled interaction. Most inherit pretrained video generators, leaving WAM pretraining and scaling underexplored. We introduce Genie Envisioner Act 2.0 (GE-Act 2.0), a world-action model whose trainable generative and action components are all initialized from scratch on manipulation data. It combines a control-oriented autoencoder (CoAE), a single-step visual planner (SVP), and an inverse dynamics model (IDM). CoAE retains action- and instruction-relevant information under aggressive compression, while SVP produces a complete future state in one differentiable pass, so visual planning and inverse dynamics can be pretrained separately on complementary data. The components are then jointly trained with knowledge-aligned selective optimization (KASO), which reduces mismatched supervision by selecting only predicted futures judged behaviorally compatible with th

Counter-Swarm Doctrine: 조직적 에이전트 침입 차단 전략
Agents can turn shared infrastructure into a channel for coordinated intrusion. The Hugging Face incident and a separate public-wiki investigation show why a security assessment may need evidence from several executions and the artifacts they leave behind. We argue that the operational unit of defence should be a revisable coordination episode linking observed transfers, task authority, and response history. The central research problem is prospective episode discovery: finding which actions belong together before an evaluator supplies their membership. We define unsanctioned coordination relative to collaboration and delegated-authority policy, connect storage-mediated coordination to stigmergy, and specify the evidence needed to distinguish influence from common causes. First-contact signals are one possible input to discovery; the design also follows inherited state and later use. A proposed evaluation compares isolated actions, rolling windows, known groups, and prospectively disco

We study a governed approach to enterprise analytics: a language model interprets the question, while deterministic policy selects and runs a pre-approved analytical program that returns both results and evidence. We show that this restriction can remain expressive within a defined analytical class, using relational operations plus aggregation, comparison, windows, ranking, and similarity. Fixed meaning, policy, data, and execution rules also make results replayable. Across 440 runs, three 8B models generated SQL and selected tools at runtime, while Qwen3-8B interpreted intent only and policy executed the approved program. None of 330 runtime-planning episodes matched the full answer-and-evidence contract across all test datasets; the policy-executed analyzer matched 110 of 110. This is a configuration-specific result, not evidence that runtime agents cannot succeed under other designs.

EVOHARNESSBENCH: 진화하는 하네스에 에이전트가 발맞출 수 있을까
Modern LLM-based agents operate through a harness of tools, reusable skills, and specialist agents that shapes what they observe and what they can do. In practice, this harness continually evolves as new capabilities are added. We introduce EVOHARNESSBENCH, a benchmark for evaluating agents under controlled harness evolution across three axes (tools, skills, and agents). Unlike existing continual-learning benchmarks for agents, which typically place non-stationarity (i.e., what changes over time) in the task stream while keeping the harness fixed, EVOHARNESSBENCH places non-stationarity in the externally supplied harness itself. It contains 17 multi-stage harness streams constructed deterministically from verifier-based benchmarks, comprising 802 tasks, 520 tools, 42 skills, and 62 agents. We evaluate two complementary settings corresponding to the central challenges of harness evolution: deployment evaluation, which isolates retention of previously accessible competence as the harness

대규모 언어 모델에서 Attention의 진화: 메커니즘, 트레이드오프, 그리고 새로운 흐름
Self-attention gives LLMs fine-grained, query-dependent access to context, but dense token interactions incur quadratic prefill cost and a key--value cache growing with context length. Research thus spans explicit-memory compression, sparse access, recurrent state construction, structured state dynamics, and heterogeneous mechanism composition. This survey analyzes these developments as model-internal contextual memory. We introduce a five-dimensional lens---Memory Representation, Memory Update, Access, Readout, and Integration---describing what is represented, how it changes, what is query-eligible, how it is read, and how readouts form outputs. This lens compares overlapping research lines without imposing one computational model.
We reconstruct mechanism-level developments and architectural adoption using 59 release-level records from 14 major model lineages and 11 high-performing open-weight endpoints. First, explicit-memory and recurrent-state methods retain distinct interfaces

Physis-Lang: 비디오 월드 모델을 위한 물리적 표현으로서의 자기 진화 언어
Video world models are expected to predict how the physical world evolves, yet they often produce visually plausible videos that violate basic physical principles. Existing approaches commonly assume that natural language is insufficient to represent the physical knowledge required for reliable generation, and therefore introduce additional visual, latent, numerical, or planning-based signals. We revisit this assumption and introduce Physis-Lang, a self-evolving framework that treats physical language as a shared and optimizable representation across data curation, model training, and video generation. Physis-Lang represents physical processes through language that describes their relevant entities, causes, interactions, governing principles, temporal evolution, and effects. To improve this representation, we construct PhysCapBench, which decomposes physical processes into atomic assertions and evaluates captions using recall and precision. We study the scaling properties of *on-policy distillation (OPD)* across *weak-to-strong*, *same-base*, and *strong-to-weak* teacher--student setups. We find that early OPD training dynamics uniformly exhibit a regular *useful-transfer* regime, in which held-out accuracy (the *gold score*, G) rises approximately linearly in d=mathrm{KL(π_θVert π_{ref})}, the square root of token-level reverse KL divergence from the student initialization. In every observed weak-to-strong pair, the student's peak gold score exceeds its teacher's own, so a compact RL expert can transfer capability to a much larger student via OPD. To estimate OPD outcomes, we fit *power laws* for how G_{peak} and the slope of the useful-transfer regime scale with student and teacher parameter counts and with teacher go

We present LEGO-Anything, an Image-to-Code framework in which a coding agent iteratively writes and executes Blender code, inspects scenes and renderings, and revises the program. To evaluate end-to-end scene recovery, we introduce LEGO-Bench, a simulator-grounded benchmark with 208 images from 104 diverse indoor and outdoor scenes. AgentGrad: 멀티 에이전트 시스템을 위한 개입 기반 프롬프트 최적화
Large language model (LLM)-based multi-agent systems (MAS) achieve strong performance by employing specialized multiple agents, yet their performance depends on the prompt design of each agent. For MAS prompt optimization, textual gradient methods that guide prompt updates using natural-language feedback have emerged as a leading paradigm. In this paper, we identify limitations in two stages of existing textual gradient approaches: gradient extraction and gradient aggregation. In gradient extraction, previous works select a target prompt without verifying whether modifying it resolves the failure, and derive gradients without agent-level supervision over the corresponding agent's intermediate output. In gradient aggregation, individual gradients are randomly grouped and concatenated, often mixing unrelated failure modes and producing prompts that fail to generalize. To address these limitations, we propose AgentGrad, a prompt optimization framework for multi-agent systems based on sequ

Leading benchmarks for formal theorem proving with large language models are small collections drawn from competition math, such as the IMO and Putnam, that poorly represent field-specific applications. Addressing a field underrepresented in Mathlib, it covers finite and countable Markov chains, renewal processes, random walks, martingales, stopping times, queues, Brownian motion, stochastic calculus, weak convergence, and Poisson and continuous-time Markov processes. Our Opus 4.8-based agent achieves a 34.9% proof rate (157/450) under a 15-minute per-problem limit. AgenticGen: 광고를 위한 보상 기반 에이전트형 비디오 생성

Recent video foundation models can generate realistic clips from multimodal conditions, yet they do not optimize how a product should be transformed into an effective advertisement or how future generation should be improved from online business feedback. To close this loop, we propose AgenticGen, a reward-guided agentic framework that decomposes advertising video generation into two trainable reasoning stages, strategy selection and draft generation, thereby exposing optimization targets that online business feedback can supervise. AgenticGen learns a performance-based reward from accumulated online feedback and a complementary rubric-based reward aligned with human quality standards, then uses them to supervise policy optimization. 엔터티를 따라가라: 에이전트형 검색을 위한 코퍼스 맵
Answering questions and completing tasks over large document collections often requires connecting evidence spread across multiple documents, such as a project's approval recorded in one, its requirements in another, and its latest status in a third. Recent LLM agents approach this by iteratively searching the full corpus rather than reading only a fixed set of top-ranked documents. However, when the corpus is exposed only as a flat collection of files, a relevant document gives no indication of how it relates to others, so the agent must rediscover these relationships for every query, often missing complementary evidence while simultaneously consuming substantial additional tokens. To address this, we introduce CorpusMap, a navigation layer that organizes the corpus around its recurring entities, which are identifiable from the documents themselves and can link a single document to many others across sources. Specifically, CorpusMap represents each recurring entity as an Entity Page t

Non-invasive speech decoding remains constrained by the low signal-to-noise ratio of neural recordings, which makes fine-grained reconstruction of phonemes or individual words difficult. Motivated by neuroscientific evidence that high-level semantic representations are distributed across cortical regions and evolve over slower temporal scales, we hypothesize that semantic content may provide a more suitable target for non-invasive decoding than low-level acoustic or lexical features. We introduce Brain2Semantics2Text, a method that reconstructs text through an intermediate semantic embedding space. Our model maps sentence-level MEG responses into a semantic manifold and then inverts the predicted embeddings into natural language. This semantic bottleneck enables recovery of high-level meaning without word-level alignment. SWE-Bench Pro has emerged as a standard benchmark for evaluating software engineering agents on challenging repository-level tasks. These issues can inflate benchmark performance and obscure agents' true coding ability. We present SWE-Bench Pro Verified, a verified version of SWE-Bench Pro that addresses both problems. Our approach combines anti-hacking safeguards that eliminate major leakage channels without disrupting normal agent functionality, with task refinement that minimally corrects inconsistencies within flawed instances. Evaluations on SWE-Bench Pro Verified reveal that some models perform substantially worse than previously reported, suggesting that existing results on SWE-Bench Pro may overestimate

Generating co-speech gestures that are temporally coherent, semantically aligned with speech, and grounded with surrounding objects remains challenging. Prior speech-driven gesture models emphasize audio-gesture alignment but do not explicitly account for posture constraints or surrounding objects, failing to capture the inherent correlation between body gestures and the physical space. We present Puppeteer, a posture-aware, object-grounded co-speech gesture diffusion model operating in a causal latent space. We decompose long gestures into structured primitives and learn a causal variational autoencoder that encodes them into temporally ordered latent tokens, each depending only on the past. We then perform conditional diffusion directly in the causal latent space, conditioning on speech signals, motion history, an initial posture reference, and object geometry to synthesize physically consistent gestures. This temporally ordered latent formulation enables explicit temporal control an

Harness와 모델의 공동 진화: 모방이 실패한 곳에서 온폴리시 보정은 약한 모델을 따라잡게 한다
Agent harnesses (the system prompt, tool set, execution hooks, and context-management scaffolding around a model) are a critical determinant of agentic task success. Automated harness evolution can enable smaller models to perform well on domain-specific tasks at a fraction of frontier-model cost. Since both the harness and model weights shape behavior, we ask how harness evolution and lightweight fine-tuning should be combined. Across seven enterprise agent tasks, we first evolve a harness with the weaker model, then find that a stronger expert often uses it more effectively, suggesting expert supervision could close the remaining gap. However, training the weaker model on the expert's complete trajectories under the evolved harness backfires: performance regresses on all seven tasks by 4 to 30 points across Qwen3-Coder and Gemma 4, even though the same procedure helps under the unevolved harness. Our analysis shows that imitation transfers knowledge and increases scaffold usage, but

Training data attribution (TDA) aims to identify training examples that shape model behavior, but its intervention value depends on both which examples are selected and how they are modified. Influence functions (IF) estimate behavioral changes under infinitesimal reweighting, yet IF-selected examples often show limited advantages over random selection under conventional weight-based interventions. This raises the question of whether influential examples lack intervention value or whether reweighting fails to realize their behavioral leverage. We introduce influence-guided response rewriting, which uses IF to identify intervention targets and replaces their responses with behavior-aligned or behavior-opposed supervision while keeping instructions fixed. Across four open-weight LLMs, we compare rewriting and reweighting on the same influence-selected examples using epistemic abstention as our primary testbed. Response rewriting produces stronger, more persistent, and bidirectional behavi

희소성의 대가: 희소·희소화 측정을 활용한 희소 복원의 충분조건
We consider the problem of support recovery for sparse binary signals from noisy linear measurements. For sparse Gaussian measurement matrices we identify sufficient conditions on the minimal sample size for maximum-likelihood recovery in the high-SNR regime ds/p to infty, where p denotes the signal dimension, s the number of non-zero components of the signal, and d the expected number of non-zero components per row of measurement. Combined with known lower bounds, this yields an information-theoretic threshold of order slog(p/s) / log(ds/p), making explicit the price of measurement sparsity. In particular, we highlight a regime where the sample-complexity loss from measurement sparsity is logarithmic while the computational gain is nearly linear.
Second, we study recovery after sparsifying an originally dense Gaussian design: the observations are generated from the dense design, while estimation uses an independently sparsified design and a rescaled response. In the proportional reg

은닉 상태의 상대 표현으로 LLM 편향 탐지하기: Reference-Based 접근
Existing bias auditing methods typically rely on model outputs, requiring costly benchmarks or judge models and potentially missing internal shifts that never appear in generated text. We propose a reference-based method that audits bias in hidden-state representations across related model variants, for example before and after fine-tuning. Because fine-tuning reshapes representation geometry, absolute hidden states are not directly comparable, so we encode each sentence by its similarities to a fixed set of anchor sentences, yielding relative representations in a shared comparison space. There we measure how target groups shift in their association with positive and negative attributes, a quantity we call the Representational Bias Shift ΔB. Across three model families and the WildGuardMix, DecodingTrust and ToxiGen benchmarks, ΔB correlates with output-level bias change in 15 of the 18 settings we test, reaching |r| = 0.84 (p < 0.001) under full fine-tuning and becoming more model-dep

While additional rollouts improve the chance of success at higher cost, successful trajectories missing from one model's rollouts may already have been discovered by another. Indeed, we observe that heterogeneous models often succeed on complementary prompts, creating opportunities for mutual learning without a designated stronger teacher. Dense retrieval powers retrieval-augmented generation, semantic search, and question answering, yet the theoretical basis for choosing between shared and dual query-document projections remains unclear. We introduce a bias-variance theory for low-rank bilinear scoring. Shared projections induce positive-semidefinite operators, whereas dual projections realize arbitrary low-rank operators. We derive their exact approximation gap and prove a local Gaussian boundary: dual has lower risk exactly when squared directional signal exceeds the estimation cost of its additional degrees of freedom. This boundary motivates the Cross-fitted Asymmetry Risk Selector (CARS), which estimates reproducible directional signal from training pairs; its Gaussian counterpart admits exact selection-power and regret formulas. PanoVLN: 효과적인 파노라마 비전-언어 내비게이션을 향해
Recent vision-language models (VLMs) have advanced vision-and-language navigation (VLN), enabling models to predict navigation actions from visual observations and language instructions. In this work, we explore VLN with panoramic observations and introduce PanoVLN. The motivation is straightforward: more complete visual context should enable better-informed navigation decisions. For example, a panorama can reveal a passage outside a perspective camera's field of view, allowing the model to identify the intended route without additional exploration. However, we find that simply replacing perspective images with panoramas yields only limited gains. Our diagnosis suggests that fully exploiting wider visibility requires modifications to action prediction, training supervision, and visual representation. First, wider visibility supports longer-horizon action planning. We make the model predict longer action sequences, enabling larger turns and subsequent movement from a single panorama. Sp
